REsearch MN A property database with all property types - residential, commercial, industrial, lots/land, government property, and utilities in the Twin Cities metropolitan area, covering nine counties: Anoka, Dakota, Carver, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, Sherburne, Washington, and Wright.
Each parcel record includes the county tax assessment data and county/city provided property characteristics data. The county plat map (excluding Sherburne) is attached that can be viewed and downloaded. County historical sales records, retrieved from the Certificate of Real Estate Value (CRV) are also included in each parcel record.

REsearch MN GIS Maps (online) Geographical Information Systems maps are available for the following counties: Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, Sherburne, Washington, and Wright. The standard base layer is the county layer and centerline data. Other base layer options include aerial imagery, topography maps, plat maps, and FEMA flood zone maps. Optional layers include school districts, zip code boundaries, section/township/range boundaries, King’s Grid coordinates, planned land use, public transportation, and railroad lines.
REsearch MN DataCREV (online) An enhanced commercial sales information attachment to the commercial parcel records. DataCREVs are available for the following counties: Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, and Washington.
The DataCREV is available when the sale transactions are:
- Commercial or industrial properties
- Non quit claim deeds
- Apartment complexes with more than 4 units
Each attachment contains CREV data, the property photo, a plat map with the parcel identified, additional information regarding the sale and property as researched by Plat, and a copy of the county CRV.

Printed Products
DataCREV – a monthly publication of commercial sales records received from the counties; CRVs (Certificates of Real Estate Value) filed during the previous month; includes commercial, industrial properties and apartment complexes over 4 units. PLAT supplements the information with business information from other sources including county and city assessor offices for the following counties: Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, and Washington. Each transaction includes a photo and cropped plat map.
PID Books – Plat offers an annual directory containing an index of all PID/Property Identification records by county and municipality. It includes one line of information for each parcel including the PID#, address, tax information, sales information and the year the structure was built. PID books are available for the following counties: Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, Sherburne, Washington, and Wright.
Plat Map Books – Each county plat map books are produced in an 11 X 17 format, hardcover bound which can be easily updated and maintained. We update these approximately every 6 months, dependent on the each county’s revision cycle. Plat map books/revisions are available for the following counties: Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, Wright, and Washington.
